During an e-visit, there may be limitations as to the Service Provider’s ability to prescribe, or renew prescriptions for, certain medicines such as, opioid pain medicine, benzodiazepine, methadone, suboxone, cannabis or stimulant prescriptions or renewals. Please contact your regular prescriber for any such medicines.
We are unable to see patients for the following conditions/concerns:
- •Possible broken bones/fractures (for example, change in appearance in bones or joints, pain when putting weight or pressure on injury)
- •Patients under the age of 1
- •Chest pains and/or racing heartbeat
- •Breathing problems
- •Severe vomiting and inability to drink fluids
- •Fever/severe pain that is not improving with acetaminophen/ibuprofen (for example, Tylenol, Advil, etc.)
- •Neck stiffness or severe headache
- •Difficulty speaking or swallowing
- •Serious injuries (for example, bleeding that won’t stop, deep cuts, head injury, etc.)
- •Loss or change of vision
- •Numbness or weakness of the face or body
- •Inability to walk
- •New confusion or memory problems
- •New or worsening seizures
- •Pregnancy and labour related matters
- •Acute mental health concerns
